Who am I? Clark Kent

I didn't want to be a twisted man
grey nose-haired
and ill-framed.
I wanted to save children
just like Holden and hold
on.
It isn't fair to blame
God.
There is so much good
locked up in everything.
It is in me too.
I remember dressing up for school pictures
like Clark Kent
but with me underneath.
No one knows
I'm in there now.
